Hey Guys! ShannaImprov (Shanna) here with a another Journal Update! I was checking out Busch Gardens (which is located a few minuets from where I am) this morning, when I checked out all the other theme parks that was owned by SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment. One of the theme parks has a "Sesame Street" theme park and it was located in Langhorne. I do not know (for the life of me) where Langhorne is at the time, nor do I look up where its city was located so I assumed its somewhere in Virginia. Later in the day, we were checking out what other attractions they have at Busch Gardens besides the rides (which we love), and when I was waiting for her, I was reading all the theme parks and locations under my breath. When I said "Sesame Place in Langhorne, Va.", My mom (who somewhat heard me the whole time) said, "Langhorne is in Pennsylvania." I stopped in my tracks at that realization that Pennsylvania is in the same state where my mom grew up and where Busch Gardens Williamsburg and Adventure Island (called Water Country, USA) was located. So I played that imaginary "Price is Right" foghorn in my head and continued to do whatever what we were doing before (No wonder I got a C in Geography! I suck at this particular subject.) .
So anyway...How was Easter? Did you go hunting for a lot of Easter Eggs? We went to church before dawn this morning and I saw a reenactment on the day Jesus was risen form the dead (because that was Easter is all about). When all the people sang this one musical number (I was getting into it), I saw this one kid (who was probably one) took a plastic Mother Mary out of the pedestal and dance around the whole church room with it. It was the most adorable thing I ever saw! A kid dancing around with Mother Mary and having a fun time with it. We were laughing and took pictures of him. And when the music was over, he put Mother Mary back on her pedestal. Kids are amazing today

2020, you had your fun!
Hello, guys! ShannaImprov (Shanna) here with the last Journal Update for this year, and MY GOD, it will be the last of it! 2020 will be over right after this month and it wouldn't come at a better time. I thought that 2020 will be a better year with everything that will be happening, but lo and behold...it started to go downhill with COVID-19. We really thought that we could put a handle on it and everything would be fine, but it has gotten worse as the year goes on. So many people got the virus, and many people died from it. It was so worse, they have no other choice than to issue a citywide curfew (in which where I am, they were told to stay home from dusk to dawn). So many Theme Parks such as Disney World had to be shut down, Schools had to shut down, Community Centers had to be shut down...literally EVERYTHING! Creature Week # 6: Elementary School Halloween
Hey guys! ShannaImprov (Shanna) here to do a late Creature Week Prompt. I didn't do it yesterday because I was at a Halloween party...via ZOOM, so this is my late entry! When I was a kid, my school is "Holiday-Themed Heavy". Every holiday that comes up on the calendar, my school decorate it from head to toe to remind students what's coming up. When Halloween was fast approaching, they decorate the entire halls with Halloween decor. One of things the school did on Halloween is go Trick or Treating, and every student is allowed to wear a costume and walk to each and every classroom to get some candy. As you may know, I loved watching Power Rangers as a kid. It was on every Saturday morning and I remember singing that particular theme song that screamed "Power Rangers Rocks!" We went to Party City and I saw a pink Power Ranger costume I wanted to wear on Halloween, and it was hung near the sexy costumes (I don't know why they put that there).
